Introduction

The Social workers Brotherhood was started in the year 1939 and registered under the Mysore Registration Act 3 of 1904 on 27thApril 1939 the official address No.2, Deena Seva Sangha Road, Seshadripuram, Bangalore – 560 020

Aims & Objects

Aims and objects of the Organization are as follows:

  • To promote the welfare of the poorer classes of our society in the field of education, Health- Care, training and rehabilitation of destitute orphan children poor children and senior citizens who are in need of basic care and amenities irrespective of caste, creed,colour, religion, region, race, sex and language.
  • To establish and maintain schools, colleges, vocational training centers professional Educational institutions in Medicine and Engineering course and destitute homes Orphanages and Senior Citizens Homes and Women and Welfare Projects.
  • To create awareness among people to eradicate social evils in the society.

The Activities Of The Organisation

Senior residents are considered to be a burden and dependents in society. To change this perspective and to shoulder their responsibilities we have started Senior Citizens Home in the name of Anandashram at Bannerghatta Main Road. In Anandashram at present15 inmates are residing in ashram respect and dignity providing best assisted living to the elderly on 24/7 basis offer the right freedom a of choice and security, we are able to respond quickly to the needs of our senior residentswe are caringly created an envirnmoment that encourages senior assist to experience things that have been an integral part of their life. At the same time enjoy those moments that one might have missed in Life while fulfilling their responsibilities at our elderly home.
